Pick a name that you are going to be comfortable with down the road. Simply stated, if you are TRYING to build a site that you believe will endure, and be part and parcel of your financial future, picture what the site will "look" like 5 years from now and reverse engineer it back to today. Don't name it something that you will regret down the road, UNLESS you think this site is simply a test bed for bigger and better things (and strategies) you will be implementing as you learn.
The Devil is NOT in the details
I don't care how many "gurus" you've seen talk about the proper keyword density of the domain name, or how many 12 dollar eBooks you've purchased on domain naming....simply get the first part of the equation down, and PICK the name. I've worked with people who have spent two weeks trying to pick the "perfect" path to prosperity as denominated by their domain, and I can tell you without ANY equivocation, those are the people you know will never succeed. Prioritizing what is MOST important is a huge component of succeeding online, especially with a veritable cacophony of distractions and alternate routes to take on the road to riches. If you are getting distracted with the most minor of details...trust me when I tell you, this is NOT going to be the right business for you!
Remember - a good domain name is IMPORTANT. But focusing your energies and efforts on creating killer content is far MORE important..:-) So grab a good name, and get to work in a hurry...you'll be glad you did, I promise!
